We are looking for a talented and experienced Head of Production to join our creative and ambitious team for an initial three month term. The candidate needs extensive experience in managing teams of Producers and Production Managers, working mainly on short form. Our portfolio of clients spans luxury, lifestyle, sport, travel and automotive, and so we are seeking candidates with experience of working across a suitably diverse range of multiple projects.
With responsibility for overseeing production budgets, scheduling, contracts and freelance resources you'll need to be an exceptional multi-tasker and natural organiser, with a strong work ethic and a passion for creating inspiring content. We are an exciting, fast paced and busy production outfit, and we are seeking someone who can match our energy, drive and creativity, and who will thrive off the challenge presented by managing multiple projects and teams.
The emphasis on quality & attention to detail is extremely important, our intention is to deliver premium grade films that exceed client expectations. The scope of work is predominantly commercial-quality online content for the world's leading brands as well as a growing number of TVCs. We provide our clients with a full-service package, managing everything in house from creative, through production, to post-production. As such, candidates for this role will be at a significant advantage if they can offer a good understanding of post-production.
This role will be predominantly office-based, maintaining an overview of the operational running of all current projects. You'll need a firm grasp, for each project, of creative and production requirements, budgets and timelines, and a consistent eye on margins and deadlines.

• Managing the reconciliation of all budgets with the Producers
• Maintain an operational overview of all current projects
• Manage multiple teams of Producers / Production Managers
• Oversee scheduling and contracts across all projects
• Manage key deadlines across multiple concurrent projects
• Coordinate freelancers and their work
• Be an integral part of a growing team of talented production personnel

Requirements:
• 10+ years relevant experience
• Excellent communicator with a strong work ethic
• Exceptional operational management skills - budgets, resources, deadlines, contracts
• First-class organisational & project-management skills
• Proactive, methodical, with a meticulous eye for detail
• Experience with international shoots across a diverse range of projects
• Demonstrate ability to manage multiple concurrent projects
