A Career defining opportunity for an experienced and motivated Producer to join our growing production team as the Head of Production across the RANKIN Group.

Our highly creative agency will enable you to work within a talented team who are dedicated to delivering spectacular work time and time again.

Our production team produce films and photography from around the world using our in-house production arm and our global network of filmmakers and photographers.

You will oversee the day-to-day production and output of the production team in our London office.

The Role -

The Head of Production role is a combination of commercial, managerial and organisational.

Responsible for providing leadership and co-ordination of the production team, this role is central to the success of our production team delivery and key support to the Executive Producers.

The Head of Production role will require a process driven mindset, comfortable with implementing systems, process and structure to support the delivery and scalability of the production desk.

You will directly manage our production desk of producers, production assistants and a runner, acting as a mentor and first point of contact for managing the team whilst developing and nurturing the talent in our production team.

You will be working closely with our Executive Producers to deliver on our various multi media projects, across all areas of The RANKIN Group including film, photo, events, publishing.

Key Responsibilities -

- Overseeing bids on all productions.

- Managing the production team delivery of multiple projects simultaneously from pitch support to delivery

- Managing, mentoring and developing the production team to become the best in the industry

- Maintaining accurate and up to date knowledge of all jobs, associated time lines and budgets

- Regularly communicate progress and status of all work through the team and to the management team

- Enhancing systems and procedures to ensure flawless and streamlined delivery across every project

- Ensuring smooth prep and delivery for all production work

- Overseeing all production budgets, finalising including overages and approving actualised wraps on delivery

- Scaling and recruiting our in-house production team including managing freelancers where required

- Principle link between the production desk and finance team


Key Competencies -

- Excellent communication and organisational skills

- Strong financial skills and deep understanding of production budgeting

- Demonstrate a combination of excellent attention to detail with the ability to see the bigger picture

- Ability to operate in a fast paced, highly competitive business landscape

- Passionate about creating exciting, inspiring films and stills campaigns


Required Experience -

- 5+ years as a Line Producer

- Experience with commercials, music video, stills and branded content production including remote production

- Network experience of great black book of production contacts both in London and oversees

- Demonstrate ability of building strong ties with existing and new production partners

- An excellent understanding of all whole production process through to delivery

- An understanding of video on social platforms (Facebook, YouTube, Instagram and Snapchat) is desirable.

- An innovative thinker prepared to think outside the box and challenge industry norms

- Comfortable working with both technology and manpower drivers of success
