Head of Production

Aardman's Production Strategy group takes a strategic view to all the studios production needs over the next 5 years. As the studio enters into a period of growth and expansion a new Head of Production role is required to oversee production planning and resource management for the studio leading and mentoring our specialist teams to ensure Aardman successfully delivers productions of the highest standard in the most cost effective and sustainable manner.
We are looking for a strong leader who will drive, focus and consolidate production strategy and planning, embracing innovation and efficiency as we embark on the production of an ambitious slate of projects which includes Feature films, Shorts, Commercials, Series and Games. You will have proven experience in the planning and management of multiple productions and expert knowledge of different animation formats and techniques (CGI, stop frame, 2D) with a focus on long form feature film and series production and co-production partnerships. Proven ability to lead and develop a specialist and diverse team, excellent business and financial acumen, an ability to drive decision making and facilitate communication. An understanding of the global landscape and emerging technologies with a network of strong talent and business relationships.
