A busy television production company who have a portfolio of high-profile factual programmes are looking for a new Head of Development or Development Executive to come on-board. The focus will be on driving the development and commission of documentary and factual entertainment ideas for the key UK broadcasters.

You will be reporting to the Managing Director and managing the development team. You will be leading idea generation and brainstorms, overseeing the development of all ideas, writing treatments and pitching to Commissioning Editors. You will also be hands on when it comes to access and identifying potential onscreen talent.

This is an opportunity for somebody who has worked as a Head of Development or Development Executive for a leading non-scripted television production company. You must have good relationships with Commissioning Editors in the documentary and factual entertainment departments at the key UK broadcasters and have the versatility to develop across the factual genres.
