We're looking for freelance first-class text producers to work at the heart of the country's most dynamic news organisation. You will be responsible for making sure our on-screen information is accurate, compelling and concise.

- Work in the studio gallery in a live broadcast environment and with the output teams in the newsroom
- Help deliver and develop a consistent style and approach to the on-air look
- Research, write and play out the information which appears on Sky News including text straps and the scrolling ticker
- Set editorial standards and lead on-screen text coverage for major news events
- Update the @SkyNewsBreak Twitter account

Your skills:

- An in-depth knowledge of national and international news
- Excellent writing skills
- First-class command of the English language
- Meticulous attention to detail
- Awareness of media law and how it affects stories
- Ability to work under pressure, with fast and accurate typing
- Be able to give and receive clear instructions
- Work well as part of a team
