Freelance Producer
Taylor Herring's production arm, St Marks Studios, is looking for a freelance producer for a short term contract to support the video and event production team with budget and project management. This candidate will be handling a wide range of projects to ensure we are meeting profitability and tracking payments. This involves assisting the Head of Production with budget reconciliations, supplier agreements, contracts, production procurement, expenses and other production related work.
We are looking for a personable candidate with great organisational skills, excellent with excel and have an understanding of production. High energy and commitment are essential.
The goal is to ensure production gets on smoothly and problem-free.

Responsibilities:
This candidate will be working with the production teams handling a wide range of projects in the pipelines. This involves assisting the Head of Production with shoot planning, location recce's, risk assessments, production procurement, script proofing, event management, expenses and other production related work.

The team will count on you for various crucial tasks, from organizing research, creating call sheets and to distributing scripts to crowd control. We are looking for a personable candidate with great phone and note-taking skills. High energy and commitment are essential.

If you are a restless individual who can multi-task, solve problems and do things proactively, you'll quickly become invaluable. The goal is to ensure production gets on smoothly and problem-free. You will also be the point person when key individuals are away on holiday. Responsibilities - Help with research, planning and building presentations to internal and external stakeholders - Create paperwork including schedules, call sheets and budgets - Call suppliers around the UK to assist with our production projects - Research and arrange contracts with extras on shoots/events - Fulfil production requests onsite for shoots and liaise with the head of production - Perform administrative work for the Head of Production (answering phones, paperwork etc.) - Physical labour assisting with movement of props and set pieces Requirements - Proven 3 years of experience as production assistant for film or event production with a passion for disruptive PR campaigns - Knowledge of terminology will be appreciated - Computer savvy - Mac and PC - Excellent organizational and multi-tasking ability - Resourcefulness and problem-solving - A team player with great communication skills - Work confidently with Excel and Word - Physical strength and stamina - Video Editing or Adobe Creative Suite are major pluses!

Requirements
Proven 2-3 years of experience as in production with event or video production with a passion for disruptive PR campaigns
History of budget management
Knowledge of terminology will be appreciated
Computer savvy - Mac and PC - knowledge of excel is a must
Excellent organizational and multi-tasking ability
Resourcefulness and problem-solving
A team player with great communication skills
Knowledge of the Paprika software is a major plus
