Stitch is looking for a First Assistant Editor to join their team.

We are a multi-award winning editing company, cutting high profile commercials for many of the industries brightest and best talent.

As we are a small team, finding the right personality is essential.

The right candidate will:

Have at least 2-3 years' experience of assisting in an offline edit house.
A sound knowledge of avid and premiere and other supporting software.
A solid understanding of workflow, camera formats, frame rates, codec etc.
Have exceptional communication skills both in and out of house.
Be confident taking over projects as well as working with clients and editing cutdowns and agency versions.
Have a passion for editing and ideally cutting their own projects.
Work well under pressure and have flexibility to assist more than one editor at a time.
Be able to guide and train our junior assistants.
