Main Responsibilities:
Support head of business finance through providing relevant financial information, manage all financial aspects including monthly and annual reporting, implementation of controls and risk mitigation; and develop finance and facilities co-ordination team.

Key Accountabilities:

Prepares weekly, monthly and annual management reports for the business unit (BU) or/and cost centre, to include preparation of the Profit and Loss statement, KPI reporting, variance analysis, executive commentary and monthly management pack; manage the BU or/and the cost centre within its existing budget and identify potential future efficiencies.
Support the decision making process of the BU team on all projects/sales with relevant financial information, process clarification, and provide recommendations and strategic input.
Prepares the annual budget, quarterly forecast and strategic long range plan, ensuring they reflect the strategies of the business and are built to include relevant input from the BU senior team.
Develop and implement policies and procedures within BU in line with Finance policies and procedures to maintain strong and robust financial controls, ensuring that all potential risk to the business is mitigated. Responsibility for the integrity and accuracy of financial data held within the BU General Ledger.
Manage and develop a strong finance, administration and facility co-ordination to support the business.
Evaluates performance of subordinates, carries out counselling to improve performance.
Identifies training & development needs of subordinates in coordination with HR for enhancement of skills & attitudes.
Provides professional direction & guidance to subordinates for staff development.

Requirements:

Degree Educated in Finance related discipline or Professional certifications
Experience working in TV/Film Production essential
Understanding of Rebate/Tax relief accounting practices
7-10 years experience
