The Job
The main purpose of this role is to record international voice overs in client attended sessions for a variety of broadcast media, corporate videos, promos and e-learning courses whilst managing the expectations of both clients and voices through the efficient running of the studios in a time and cost effective way. You will ensure uniform audio quality and adhered to delivery standards for all in-house and outsourced recordings.

We re looking for an enthusiastic team player who can juggle numerous projects with confidence to work in our London studios.

Main Job Tasks and Responsibilities
Record international voice overs in client attended sessions for broadcast media, corporate videos, games, apps, promos and e-learning courses
Direct voices in non-attended sessions
Edit and mix audio to comply with client specific delivery requirements
Liaise with agents, clients and voice talent to effectively plan projects
advise on required media assets and deliverables
estimate turnaround times
advise on job-specific workflows.
Compile voice reels and update website database.
Studio and machine room maintenance, data management, software updates and backups.
Prepare scripts, take care of client and talent hospitality and ensure everyone has a pleasant experience.

Education and Experience
Advanced experience of Pro Tools - understanding the program inside out with fast editing practice and preferably on Windows PCs
Experience of quickly adapting from different workflows and recording techniques to job specific requirements and client's requests
Solid understanding of analogue digital signal flows and routing
Time code, audio/video formats, and tapeless workflows
Loudness metering and broadcast compliance
Ability to work to tight deadlines and balance back to back sessions
Self-starter with the ability to manage your own time
Being able to work under pressure and committed to finishing to agreed deadlines
Sound knowledge of MS packages (mainly Word & Excel)
Confident communicator - both written and verbal
Strong attention to detail
Use of audio/video batch-processors, converters and renaming software
Remote recording via ISDN audio codecs, the typical problems involved and use of broadband alternatives
Yamaha digital mixing desks
