We are recruiting for an Executive Producer to lead on the management and delivery of Curve's produced and touring work.Almost one million people a year engage with Curve through performances and projects at our home in Leicester, across the UK and internationally. Under the leadership of Chief Executive Chris Stafford and Artistic Director Nikolai Foster, Curve has developed a reputation for producing, programming and touring a bold and diverse programme of musicals, plays, new work, dance and opera. All of this is presented alongside a dynamic mix of community engagement, artist development and learning programmes, which firmly places audiences, artists and communities at the heart of everything we do. This is an exciting opportunity to take a senior leadership role at Curve, one of UK's leading producing theatres, located in the heart of Leicester's Cultural Quarter.The successful candidate will have extensive experience in theatre producing, ideally in a producing theatre. High levels of financial, administrative and business planning skills are paramount, as is your ability to motivate and lead the team around you. A strong team player, you will thrive on pressure in a dynamic, deadline driven environment.The Executive Producer will be responsible for leading and managing the producing teams and overseeing budgets for all Made at Curve and Curve on Tour productions. The successful candidate will ensure utilisation of the theatre venues is optimised to maximise income whilst maintaining a balance between commercial and artistic programmes. In addition, as a member of Curve's Senior Management Team, the post holder will contribute to business planning and policy setting across the organisation.Due to the nature of the role, the successful individual will have a flexible approach to working, including the ability to work unsociable hours. Ideally the postholder will be located in Leicester, but flexible working will be considered for the right candidate.
