We specialise in creating short factual films and digital resources for the global education market. Since launching in 2011, our content is now used in over 60 countries and in 20 different languages. The tempo at Twig is fast-paced and involves producing a range of digital projects for both UK and international markets.The RoleWe are looking for a creative and talented Executive Producer to lead our highly skilled Production team, delivering top class films and multimedia content for Twig's clients and end users.Central to the role is delivering key curriculum aligned short format films and overseeing the work of our in-house teams to ensure products are completed on time, within budget, and to our creative, educational and technical standards.The successful candidate will lead on the creative development of a large number of short films across a wide range of subjects, and will input on product development and delivery. The role involves the strategic management of production workflows from development to delivery, whilst ensuring exceptional quality levels at reasonable cost.The successful candidate will be the key editorial contact for all Twig films, and will ensure the quality and integrity of Twig's project planning and the robustness of our delivery schedules. He or she will also be responsible for planning and monitoring budgets, often working on a number of projects simultaneously.The person we are looking for will be a strategic thinker, a great overall leader, an exceptional people manager, mediator; the "go to" person with first class communication skills and the ability to adapt quickly to changing requirements. He or she will be on top of the latest digital media and video technologies, and will be able to keep up with the rapid changes in this fluid marketplace. The person will think critically, behave proactively and use his or her initiative in every aspect of the role.Responsibilities include:• Lead the film team to ensure that Twig films continue to evolve creatively and make best use of emerging technologies and storytelling techniques.• Support the researchers, producers and editors to develop their skills and knowledge to produce top quality films and other rich-media content• Provide constructive feedback to the film team so they understand what great Twig films look and sound like.Manage multiple work flows, staying within budget, ensuring deadlines are met.• Support the Head of Studio to implement the master schedule.• Line manage the film production team.
