#Long story short
You will guide the development and production of international content, with the goal to create strong, inspiring content for all platforms, of all forms and durations, connecting with audiences worldwide and ultimately benefitting the Red Bull brand and business.
#Guide Production
In this role, you will guide creative units in countries and the HQ in the development and production of moving image productions of all forms and for all platforms. You will ensure they are in line with Red Bull's brand attitudes, editorial values and quality standards and organize and lead regular alignment meetings both in-house and with your country contacts.
#Content Optimization
You will work closely with the central Red Bull Media House team as well as with local creative teams, developing, improving and managing content and driving reach and engagement with key target audiences both local and global. You will uplift content created by national business units as well as executing centrally commissioned content.
#Process Management
Another aspect of this role will be, to monitor the development, production and delivery process of all assigned projects, reminding stakeholders and producers of deliveries and deadlines and ensuring tracking tools are up to date and reliable. You will execute centrally commissioned productions, liaising with and guiding external production companies and assist your line manager in administrative tasks.
#Drive Content
You will up-level international content by implementing strong storytelling and innovative production techniques. You will evaluate delivered concepts and treatments, providing development feedback both during Business Planning and throughout the year in alignment with the rest of the Non-Live Content team. Furthermore, you will generate new ideas and concepts in collaboration with different teams and departments within Red Bull (f.e. Development, Audience Task Forces, Programming, etc).
#Workshops and Presentations
You will actively take part in informative and motivational workshops, prepare presentations and reports as well as present content, editorial direction and workflows.
YOUR EXPERIENCE INCLUDES
- University Degree ideally in Film Studies, Journalism or similar
- Currently at Senior / Executive Producer level in an established Media Market
- 7-10 years overall media employment
- Experience in series production or commissioning (ideally in non-scripted, factual entertainment, documentary)
- A creative instinct for producing story-driven, visually distinctive content - long, mid and short form
- Editorial expertise, with the ability to evaluate and give clear feedback
- Clear understanding of the international content market, VOD and broadcast strategy, commissioning, programming, audiences, ratings, etc.
- A broad knowledge of all media production methods for creation and delivery essential
- Ideally additional experience in writing for television, filming, editing, production management or other aspects of development and production
- The ability to work well within a large, international organization
- Skills in coordinating and guiding production partners from development phase to production and delivery
- Excellent organizational, communication, presentation and interpersonal skills and attention to detail
- Fluency in English (additional languages are a plus)
