Reporting into the Senior Producer the Editorial Assistant will be operating Spyder machine, providing football analysis, acting as a Fanzone researcher and supporting with Programme administrative duties. PLP are seeking Editorial Assistant to work as part of its studio team across all of its programming in a varied role.

Responsibilities will include; Operating the Spyder multi-screen machine in a live gallery environment; working alongside on-screen talent & senior staff to prepare analysis for all studio programming; Assisting on the editorial production of programmes for the Premier League; log and review rushes and select suitable material for editing and co-ordinate and/or work in live studio environment

The ideal candidate will have experience of logging rushes and selecting material for edits; an understanding of the workings of a live studio environment and excellent knowledge of Premier League. Experience on a wide range of sports programming, including live OB's, quick-turnaround highlights, documentaries, magazine shows would be advantageous. PLEASE NOTE: This role will require frequent weekend, early starts and late finishes as well as work over the Christmas period. All successful candidates will be given all the required training to take on this role. This is a fixed term contract ending in May 2019. This role will be based in Stockley Park, Uxbridge.
