Editor/Camera Operator

LONDON

DUCK is seeking a talented EDITOR/CAMERA OPERATOR to join our team FULL TIME.

Reporting to directors, producers and head of post-production, the successful candidate will work in a fast paced and open production office creating digital content for a wide range of clients. This role is predominantly editor-focused, however you would occasionally be required to assist on shoots as a second camera operator.

Start Date = End of July/Start of August 2019

ESSENTIAL SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS

• 3 + years' employment experience of the following:

Premiere Pro:
• Highly proficient in editing
• Experienced and competent in colour grading
• Confident and skilled in basic audio editing and mixing
• General knowledge of the software

After Effects:
• Skilled in motion graphics (including typography animation)
• Intermediate skillset of video retouching, composting and manipulation
• Knowledge of the software (including dynamic linking)

Photoshop/Illustrator/InDesign:
• Wide graphic design skillset
• Photographic retouching and manipulation
• Comfortable with layouting for all software
• Working with and handling templates

IT:
• MacOS knowledge
• Microsoft Office
• Data Management / File format knowledge
• File format knowledge / transcoding

Camera*:
• Competent camera operator with (ideally) Sony FS7, A7sII, C300/C100s
• Good understanding of framing and image composition

Sound & Lighting*:
• Managing sound on set during filming
• Assisting in simple lighting setups on set (e.g. Three-point lighting)

*for the right candidate, basic camera, sound and lighting skills will be provided through training with the production company.

ADDITIONAL SKILLS (Ideal but not essential)

Post Production
• Software coding
• DaVinci resolve competency

Camera:
• Drone operating: DJI Phantom 4 Pro
• Gimbal operating: Ronin-S
• Any other camera experience

IT:
• Basic Web Hosting / Web design / Wordpress knowledge
• Assisting in helping in computer network server management
