Job Specification - Fixed term video editor wanted with extensive experience and a diverse portfolio of credits using Adobe CC.

Spectrecom Films is based in Kennington, London and produces award-winning films, TV commercials, corporate, university, charity and branded content for some of the world's leading brands and digital agencies. We are recruiting a fixed term Video Editor/Animator to join our post production department.

We are not looking for entry-level applicants rather an established (3yrs+), and versatile editor, with creative flair and technical experience.

Key Skills Required

Excellent working knowledge of Premiere Pro and technical knowledge of the post production process.

Good knowledge of Adobe CC, in particular, After Effects and Photoshop.

Understanding of standards and best practices and thorough understanding of QC, video codecs, tapeless workflows, 4K, 6K.

Ability to work to tight deadlines, understand simple and complicated briefs. Able to work in pressured situations, editing multiple projects on a day-to-day basis.

Experience with client attended edits. Strong interpersonal skills to work well with directors, cinematographers, sound editors, special effects editors.
Demonstrable passion for the history, development and art of editing.
