Experienced Editor

Full time Editor with excellent working knowledge of Adobe Premiere and After Effects wanted.

Spectrecom Films produces award-winning films, TV commercials, corporate, charity and branded content for some of the world's leading brands and biggest digital agencies. We work with broadcasters, production companies, universities, corporations, and charities, delivering award-winning films, long and short-form video and TV/cinema campaigns.

We are looking for an experienced Editor to join our expanding team based in Kennington, London. Applicants must have a strong in-depth technical knowledge, and be experienced with editing, grading and producing graphic content from a variety of source material on both short and long-form projects. Experience on-lining commercials, Broadcast TV and branded content, working both independently and in client-attend situations, often on time pressured situations is essential. You will help the team to progress by sharing knowledge and helping with workflow improvements too.

Required Skills:

Intimate knowledge of the Adobe Premiere and After Effects.
Demonstrable skills in editing short and long-form content.
Experience with conforming form RED, Alexa and Sony cameras.
Demonstrable colour grading experience (Resolve skills desirable).
Working within broadcast and online specifications/standards.
Excellent client facing skills, offering creative solutions when needed.
Well organised.
The ability to remaining calm and focused under pressure.
Outgoing nature and willing to train/knowledge share with other team members.

Key Responsibilities:

Offline and online editing of prominent projects.
Colour grading both long and short form content.
Working with Creatives and Producers to ensure the best results are achieved, on time and within budget.
Be responsible and accountable for QC of your projects, with a strong attention to detail and high quality delivery expectations.
Day to day management of online delivery processes and technical requirements.
Assist with training and professional development within the team.
Assist with exploring and developing new workflows.
Ensuring edit facilities are maintained and operated at the required level.
Constant review of hardware, software and processes.
