We develop, produce and deliver award-winning content across several platforms for our youngest preschool audiences through to teens.YolanDa's Band Jam is back for a second series and will be jam-packed with live music as award-winning musician YolanDa Brown invites musical guests to jam along with her band, to perform crowd-pleasing songs for a noisy audience of children.Role ResponsibilityTo produce distinctive content on a variety of platforms.To work effectively with other departments, suppliers & partners (internal & external) ensuring the BBC maintains excellent relationships throughout.Lead, motivate and support a team, ensuring that the editorial vision is communicated and understood. Responsibility for project management appropriate to the given discipline, such as the construction of a full production schedule and budget in conjunction with Production Management and others.To ensure content reflects our diverse audiences.Are you the right candidate?You'll have strong editing experience in delivering high-quality content and have a thorough understanding and experience of the pre-school audience and an awareness of BBC Children's output.You'll have previous experience of working with talent and building a good rapport.You'll be confident with scheduling, post-production - particularly sound design, and have experience of script writing for VoiceOver.Experience of location and OB studio shoots is preferable and an interest in music and the industry would also be desirable, but not essential.Package DescriptionBand: DContract type: FTC / AttachmentLocation: Salford, MediaCityUKDates: 17th June - 4th October 2019Interviews to be held w/c 3rd June 2019
