Edit Assistant Post Production

Overview..
Working across our Broadcast, SVOD and Digital platforms the Edit Assistant will be responsible for Media Management, Quality control and helping to develop and enforce workflows across all areas of the business.

They will also act as first line support for our Avid and Premiere edit suites.


Responsibilities...

* Standard Edit Technician duties including but not limited to: ingesting/ digitizing to Avid/Premiere from various formats and file types, digital and tape playouts, conforms and online/dubb edit preparation
* Ability to undertake eyeball quality control process and use own judgement to identify errors
* Deal with various technical issues as they arise
* Media management on the ISIS/Nexis shared storage systems and various NAS drives
* LTO Archiving of digital assets
* Maintain edit suites in good working order by noting problems and seeking appropriate remedy with ITN managers/support staff

Requirement for strong working knowledge of:

* File Delivery to DPP spec
* R128 compliance
* PSE compliance
* International video standards and standards conversion techniques
* 4K workflows
* Digitising content from Tape
* Laybacks to Tape
* Professional and consumer file formats, codecs and encoding
* Content Agent
* Avid Media Composer
* Adobe Premiere
* Adobe Media Encoder
* Adobe After Fx
* Da Vinci Resolve
* Windows 7/10 operating systems
* LTO systems, in particular Xendata
