Warner Bros. Television production UK is a leading creator and distributor of television content. The group produces long-running brands in drama, factual, documentary, factual entertainment and history. To date, the group consists of Ricochet, Wall to Wakk Media, Twenty Twenty and Renegade Pictures.Whilst employed by Warner Bros. you will be part of an in-house Post production team based in London, that will work across all group companies providing services and support to all of our clients.As an experience edit assistant with experience of working in a busy post production MCR, you will take a key role within the Edit Assistant team by ensuring that all Post Production tasks run smoothly. You will have proven customer service skills and a detailed knowledge of Post production workflows, including file based processes and ideally, QC & AS-11.Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities Ensure all edits are correctly setup and ready before useDigitize/ingest file and tape based footageConform and picture check final cuts prior to an onlineExport cuts for uploadCreation of AAF files & MXF filesWrapping up of finished projects for Pro Tools sessionEnsure safe backup of camera card material and project dataLabelling and managing tape and file based materialAssist with general upgrades and maintenance of equipmentKeeping up to date with the latest technologies and softwareGrouping and syncing rushesTracklay audio conformsAssist in DVD and digital cut play outsAd Hoc DutiesYou may be required to work additional hours and in other WBTVPUK offices, including Ricochet in Brighton if necessary.Qualifications & Experience A long track record of communicating with production personnel, both verbal & writtenStrong knowledge of different tape and file based workflows and formatsFamiliarity with VT decks and formats such as HDCam SR, XDCam, DigibetaAn excellent understanding of Avid offline editing, specifically with bin management, multicam and project organisationAn excellent understanding of final Post Production processes including online, grading & audio, AQC (Vidcheck) & QCExcellent knowledge of Avid Media Composer / Symphony, DaVinci Resolve, ISIS shared storage, Content Agent and Pro-toolsAbility to work accurately under pressure to tight deadlinesHave experience of online scheduling tools, preferably Farmer's WifeHave an ability to train non - technical Production personnel in back up kit useUnderstand the principles of AS11 deliveryBe able to troubleshoot and provide support for technical issuesSkills Strong communicationAbility to work accurately under pressure to tight deadlinesExceptional attention to detailAbility to prioritise and multi taskAbility to work well within a small teamAbility to manage and guide clients who need to hit delivery deadlines in a pressurised environment
