Role: Edit AssistantBased in: East LondonReports to: Head of ProductionPay: DOEPeriod: 3 months fixed term contractWe are a digital content studio and broadcaster, specializing in distribution and monetization of video content across YouTube and all social platforms, as well as production of original and brand-funded video content. We manage YouTube channels and social video for over 100 global TV brands, from Gordon Ramsay to Formula E. We also produce original and branded video content, and have launched several award-winning branded campaigns. We have offices in London and Los Angeles.We are recruiting for an Edit Assistant to join the team in London, working on Post Production of digital-first content for a range of clients including brands and broadcasters. The successful candidate will be multi-skilled, technically minded and flexible, a digital native with experience in Post Production, specifically Adobe Suite. They will work with the internal production team as well as freelance Editors to ensure the smooth running of the Post Production process, providing support to the Lead Editor and Post Production Co-ordinator across primarily short and mid form digital content creation.Responsibilities:Working with the Lead Editor and Post Production Co-ordinator to ensure smooth running and upkeep of the 3 x inhouse Edit SuitesEditing our smaller projects and making basic client changes on our larger editsPreparing Edit projects and syncing/transcoding rushes ahead of an Editor beginning the projectControl of production hard drives - including distribution, back-ups and getting prepped for EditsManaging the Archiving and Cataloging of our projects via cloud based storageEditing additional Deliverables including reversions for social platforms including Instagram, Twitter, FacebookPreparing additional PR, Awards Submission and LDS Website edits of our projectsOn set DIT on our smaller shootsLiaising with Post Houses if Online/Grade/Sound Mix is happening off siteAssisting the Lead Editor and Post Production Co-ordinator with creating files for final delivery to clients - this could be for TX or online launchesChecking for software updates and ensuring that our post processes are up to date and efficiently runQualifications:At least 1 years' experience of working in Post Production (especially on digital projects)Demonstrable experience of Adobe Suite, particularly Premiere Pro and After EffectsBonus: Editorial sensibility and creative flairBonus: Extensive experience with After Effects
