We are looking for an Edit Assistant to work in Cardiff starting in April on a minimum 1 year contract. We work in Avid on Windows and expect the applicant to have 1-2 years experience working in a similar production and post production environment. Skills the applicant will need to be proficient in include media management, ingesting, exporting, archiving and general edit support. Additionally adding blurs to sequences may occasionally be required so the ability to work on Avid timelines is a bonus. While we have an edit support team in London available to offer help, the Cardiff role will be the only Edit Assistant in that location so excellent problem solving skills and the ability to work alone are essential. The Edit Assistant will be the first link between the production in Cardiff and the company so we also expect any applicant to be confident and have great communication skills.
