Back2back are looking for an experienced senior edit assistant to join our busy technical team. The ideal candidate will have experience of working across documentary post production. You must be calm under pressure, a strong team player, self motivated to take ownership of daily tasks and carry them out to a very high standard from start to finish. You will need to be an excellent communicator, friendly and flexible in your approach to work.

We are looking for someone who will bring the following knowledge and experience to the team:

• Edit assistance to the offline suites
• Ingest from shot rushes, skypes and archive. Organising rushes and consulting the ingest log
• Conforming one hour programmes
• Audio prep and liaising with Dubbing Mixer to ensure smooth running of VO and mixes.
• Eyeball & ACQ reports - prepping final episodes in accordance with delivery dates
• Media management and archiving of old productions
• General technical support across the company
• Film deliverables including audio and archive EDLs, BITC and clean screeners
• Reversions / seamless creation of international masters.
• Reviewing tech specs and ensuring correct masters and deliverables are created

The position is full time and based in Brighton. Start mid August.
