As Green Rock's Edit and Studio Assistant you will be working in a busy Post Production facility servicing both internal and external clients. You will have a strong work ethic and be keen to advance your Adobe Premiere and After Effects skills whilst supporting the wider Post Production team and assisting on a wide range of digital and broadcast content in a fast-paced environment where working on numerous projects from Branded Content to Long Form Factual is common place.You will be adept at using the Adobe CC suite of software, specifically Premiere, as well as having demonstrable editing skills whilst being open to using other software solutions including After Effects (GFX) and DaVinci Resolve (Colour Grade). A good technical grounding in Post Production and therefore understanding of Post Production workflows and delivery specifications is advantageous. Previous experience as an Edit Assistant or ingest technician would be ideal. Alongside the Post Production team, you will also be required to assist the Studio Manager in a technical capacity. Building on your knowledge of Post Production, we will utilise these skills with studio set-ups, encoding, patching and creating GFX overlays, etc. All necessary training will be provided.You need to be organised with a good understanding of file formats, cameras and codecs, and be able to work to tight deadlines. Whilst primarily being based at the post facility you should also be keen to further your skills in a production environment, handling data on location and studio shoots. Once up to speed, you should have the ability and confidence to suggest new procedures to help an ever-expanding post production process and work well in a team environment. Key Duties & Responsibilities: • Support and maintain Adobe Premiere editing systems • Provide assistance for multiple edit suites and the occupying clients • Guide freelance editors on in-house workflow and media management • Log, organise and prepare a wide range of content for edit • Offer a range of editing and graphic skills to the creative team • Prepare exports, viewer files, AAFs and sequences for grade• Support Studio Manager with technical assistance and set-up, including live streaming• Assist with hiring of studio equipment and crew liaison• Media Management of studio footage feeding in to Post Production workflow• Support the whole of the production process• Work well as part of a team whilst maintaining good relationships and service levels with clients Essential Skills & Requirements: • Have a good knowledge of Adobe Premiere and After Effects • Be familiar with a Windows based operating network • Have a good aptitude for technology and understanding of the Post Production process • Be familiar with various cameras and codecs for broadcast and digital content • Basic understanding of a studio environment and the equipment• Have excellent communication and organisational skills • Have an attention to detail and accuracy • Be able to take direction as well as offer creative input • Have a preferred knowledge in DaVinci Resolve
