Boomerang, part of the Twofour group, are looking for creative shooting DV Directors with good editorial skills based near Manchester to work on Channel 4's Extreme Cake Makers, a Broadcast Award winning show with an established style.
Previous experience of working on daytime series preferred, and a familiarity of filming technical processes and/or food sequences an advantage.

Successful applicants would be used to filming on C300, must have at least 3 DV directing broadcast credits, and be used to operating alone and comfortable working with talent and be currently DV directing.
You should know your way around the use of panel and Dedo lighting, radio mics and using a slider and be experienced at directing/ producing a shoot - not just following actuality in obs-doc.
