Spectrecom Films is based in Kennington, London and produces award-winning films, TV commercials, corporate, education, charity and branded content for some of the world's leading brands and biggest digital agencies. We are recruiting a full time Director/Cam Op to join our filmmaking department. Director/Camera Operator wanted with excellent shooting skills, plus experience editing using Premiere Pro.

Key Responsibilities

This is an all-rounder position, for a camera operator with editing skills looking to take on more Directing, but still being hands on with a camera and in post too as required. Candidates with experience in Education content preferred.

Candidates should have several years experience as a Camera Operator, and demonstrable skills in editing. Directing experience can be more recent, but we want see people with creative flair, and ambition to develop their skills.

Key Skills

Experience in directing some or all of the following types of production - eLearning, higher education/university films, corporate productions, studio work, multi-cam shoots, VFX/green screen, live events.

High level of camera operator experience (working with high end cameras, and a detailed understanding of advanced camera settings)

A strong level of lighting experience - not just interviews, but creative studio and location setups as well.

A broad knowledge of production equipment

High level of experience working with Premiere Pro/Adobe CC and an understanding of associated post production software.
