The News team at ITN Productions is looking for some capable freelancers to create compelling digital news video.

Responsibilities

The role involves researching stories, chasing footage, writing scripts, editing content with voiceover and graphic captions, writing catching headlines and syndicating content to clients. Successful candidates will have experience in broadcast or multimedia journalism, be proficient with Avid editing software and be able to turn his or her hand to any subject in the news agenda.
Qualifications

Educated to degree level or equivalent with accredited journalism qualification
1-3 years journalism experience
Excellent script writing skills
Experience with video editing software (Avid preferable)
Experience of working for a national or local news organisation
Experience of working to tight deadlines
Good understanding of the news agenda
Experience of creating content for a digital audience
