Researcher/Assistant Producer (Germany)

Bonn, Germany

In 2019, the International Paralympic Committee (IPC) and one of its International Partners will produce a joint original content series showcasing the story of mentoring relationships with athletes. The series will follow a selection of Para athletes and mentees on their journey of discovery, courage and reaching new heights.
The successful candidate will be based in Bonn, Germany, for the majority of the contract with possible on location travel.

These will be your key responsibilities:
- Conception/Planning: Work closely with project manager and creative team, supporting
implementation of concept, research and planning alongside external production
companies. Act as day-to-day contact with athletes, mentees and National Paralympic
Committees in planning stages.
- Filming: Support project manager in on-location shoots ensuring deliverables are met.
- Post production and distribution: Co-ordinate series post-production compiling internal
Work with National Paralympic Committees, external media and athletes for maximum
reach of series across social and web. Create final report with stats on performance of
campaigns and partner feedback and ensure production companies adhere to edits.

Based on performance, the candidate has the potential for contract extension working on similar projects until after the Tokyo 2020 Paralympic Games.

Requirements/Skills
- One year's experience in marketing, agency or social media management with tangible
examples of involvement in video production and/or digital activations
- Experience in telling visual stories and knowledge of maximising reach via social media
- Strong attention to detail, organisation and the ability to prioritise multiple projects at once
- Ability to work to tight deadlines and under pressure
- Ability to work independently but also as part of a wider team
- Exceptional research, writing and editing skills, as well as the ability to adopt the style,
tone, and brand voice of the series
- Fluent in English, additional languages are an advantage.
