Are you a talented graphic and motion graphic designer, looking for the opportunity to work in a growing media business? If so, Play Sports Group, the home of the Global Cycling Network, is looking for a mid-weight digital and motion designer to join our App Marketing team. This is a great opportunity to be part of a team creating global campaigns aimed towards passionate cycling fans.
You'll be supporting the senior creative team across a range of campaign design projects. Working closely with the Art Director and other seniors, you'll produce social and digital ads, video graphics and creative, newsletter design, and more. You'll also work on the asset research/generation and versioning of your designs for a range of channels, formats and languages.
We're looking for someone who is most at home creating stand-out motion collateral - whether for social, video, or digital display - but who also relishes crafting static creatives and images to the same exacting standard. Due to the collaborative and agile nature of the team, there'll also be the opportunity to flex your creative muscle and work on concept creation and development.
Role Responsibilities:
* Work with the Art Director and App Marketing team
* Creation of a wide range of digital advertising campaigns
* Digital, motion and graphic design work for a variety of digital formats and online channels, undertaking amendments, layout, image manipulation as required
* Source inspiring photography, illustrations and graphics that meet the design ambitions and tactical brief
* Reversion signed off advertising concepts into multiple different formats, sizes and languages
* Work to and be aware of the deadlines for the creation of assets ensuring they are developed not only to our high standards but delivered on time and to the agreed specifications
* Develop a close working relationship with the App Marketing team and teams in the wider business ensuring that all materials created to meet the brief are consistent with materials created across the business
* Through clear communication you should be able to interpret the information supplied in the briefing process to create the material that conveys the key messages needed
Skills, Experience and Knowledge:
* Experience in a commercial/agency design environment
* Skilled with Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects, and Animate)
* Experience creating a variety of integrated campaign collateral (e.g. motion design, html5, animated .gif, static banners, social, video, app campaigns, newsletters and more)
* Ability to code in html5 and css for banner ads
* A portfolio of brand and direct response campaign designs, ideally across paid, organic and owned channels
* Attention to detail
* Organisation skills, with the ability to multitask across projects
* Communication skills
* Be comfortable dealing with the ambiguity and changing priorities of a rapidly growing business
* Expertise in creating dynamic creatives would be a bonus
* Ideally, you'll have knowledge of or an interest in cycling, although this isn't essential
