Job Title: Digital Designer
Contract: 22 Months Fixed Term Contract
MTV & Comedy Central are looking for a multi-disciplinary designer with strong Photoshop, Illustrator and After Effects skills to join the creative division of their fast paced multi-platform editorial team. Excellent typography, layout skills and an eye for detail is essential, in addition to a methodical approach to design and creative problem solving.
As well as having an exceptional work ethic, the successful candidate must be a team player, a good communicator and be able to articulate ideas clearly. The designer will be frequently managing multiple briefs so will be expected to think on their feet, have confidence in meeting demanding deadlines and be able to adapt quickly and intuitively.
Day to day; this role is a key to bringing our editorial content to life through visual storytelling on Snapchat Discover and Instagram Stories. The designer will also work independently and collaboratively on larger 360 branding or commercial briefs and be expected to contribute innovative ideas in brainstorm meetings.

Must have Skills:
An outstanding portfolio
Passion for all forms of visual communication
Proven experience working in a digital design environment
Excellent working knowledge of Adobe Suite including After Effects
Thorough understanding of social / digital landscapes and at the forefront of new trends in music, design and youth culture
Ability to receive creative direction but also think outside the box when approaching briefs from concept to completion
Good work ethic and strong communication skills are essential, as this position requires working closely with writers, producers, editors and rest of the creative team
