The UXD team is looking for a talented and highly motivated Digital Designer / User Interface Designer Intern to join us and work on some of our exciting projects. We'll take the inter though our design processes and will be part of our daily stands, show & tell, workshops and many other fun design activities.

You will work on several projects; from Dplay, our OTT service that provides SVOD/AVOD in the Nordics and other countries in Europe. Also, the intern we'll work on our LUNA template engine, a white label solution for browser, mobile apps and connected devices that can be used by other brands within Discovery.

You will learn how to use prototyping tools (Invision, Marvel app), generate heatmaps and visitor recordings (Hotjar) and also will learn how to use several management tools (Trello, Jira).

Responsibilities
Generate high-quality graphics
Design and create prototypes and mock-ups
Make improvements to existing graphics
Test designs for usability and quality
Design of product functionalities
Requirements
Strong working knowledge of the Adobe Creative Suite; Photoshop and Illustrator is a must
Strong understanding of UI design techniques and tools
A passion for Interaction Design
Excellent attention to detail
A working knowledge of wireframing and prototyping tools

Desirerable:
Experience with HTML and CSS
Experience designing for mobile apps; iOS and Android
Competency in Sketch is also highly desirable
