Our department's goal is to get comedy entertainment shows commissioned: panel shows, comedy travelogues, game shows - anything formatted, with comedy at its heart. We have an ongoing slate of ideas that we work from, all at different stages of development.

We are looking for an experienced Development Researcher to help develop pre-existing ideas on the slate to a pitch-worthy standard, as well as creating original ideas from scratch. It's primarily a creative role however it does entail its fair share of organisational responsibilities and good attention to detail will be vital.

We expect this person to come with excellent current knowledge of the stand-up comedy circuit.

You'll be an active member of a team, but you must be able to work self-sufficiently - key attributes for this role are being able to motivate yourself and manage your time effectively.

Duties:
* Generating/developing comedy entertainment ideas.
* Taking existing ideas on the slate and working them up to a run-through/pitch-worthy level.
* Setting up/partaking in brainstorm meetings to create new ideas.
* Liaising with agents to book/set up meetings with talent.
* Writing copy for treatments / designing treatments using photoshop and keynote.
* Producing inhouse run-throughs to test out ideas (booking guests/rooms, creating keynote to run the shows, writing script, generating content, getting audience, briefing guests)
* Edit-producing tasters
