Purpose of role:
National Geographic is looking for an enthusiastic and talented Development and Production Assistant to join the UK global Development and Commissioning team.

Responsibilities:
- Execute administrative responsibilities for the NG London Global Production and Development Team.
- Assist with developing ideas, supporting creating compelling pitch materials through editing software and powerpoint and other presentation creation software.
- Provide editorial research support as requested.
- Perform Production Coordinator duties for development & production team to streamline and improve the development & production pipeline from pitch to premiere.
- Generate and distribute internal paperwork and enter key information into company systems and databases.
- Assist Development and Production Management with the receipt, distribution and filing of Programme materials.
- Prepare written and visual presentations for Head of Department & executives and have the ability to quickly adjust priorities to provide critical materials, including embedding video clips, in a timely, accurate and creative manner.

Person Profile:
- Have previous experience working within television production or development
- Be organised and able to flex priorities to business needs
- Have an advanced level of IT skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (esp Word, Excel and Power Point)
- Be calm and able to deliver a consistent level of work, even during times of high pressure
- Excellent attention to detail
- Follows internal processes and workflows accurately
- Strong team player, collaborative approach.
