Development Producer Role - Ideal Candidate.
Reports to the Senior Development / Exec Producer
The ideal candidate is passionate about bringing nature & wildlife stories to life and is driven to generate and nurture ideas about the natural world. If you are Development Producer with a track record of developing ideas that have been commissioned within the genres of science and natural history, with excellent writing skills, and a strong understanding of the industry, who is dedicated to connecting people to our precious planet, we'd love to hear from you.
Other duties include: Developing strong working relationships with scientists, contributors and fixers around the world, and pro-actively pursuing projects with them as appropriate.
Logistical skills and experience in arranging worldwide filming, hitting deadlines and working up budgets in close liaison with members of the Production Management team. Good knowledge of the risks in wildlife filming. Knowledge of production and editing processes.
