Daisybeck Studios are looking for a highly skilled, experienced, commission winning Development Executive to join Yorkshire's biggest wholly independent production company. 2018 is already our busiest year to date, with 50 plus hours in production. We're looking for a charismatic TV God or Goddess who lives, eats, breaths and sleeps great factual and factual entertainment ideas.

Current RTS Yorkshire "Indie Spirit" award holder, we want to build on the success we've already begun in this, our 20th anniversary year. Our particular mission is to grow our commissions with Channel 4 and the BBC. We're already working with and in development on some fantastic shows for Channel 5 and ITV so we're OK with those networks for the moment.

If you have won factual or factual entertainment commissions in the last 12 months from Channel 4 and the BBC and are looking for your next challenge we'd love to hear from you. We're the home of Channel 5's biggest 8pm show - The Yorkshire Vet - and all the networks say "Bring us the next Yorkshire Vet" - but not pets, not vets and not Yorkshire! A familiar tune? It's a the holy grail - a returnable hit series. Can you come up with it? Have you got great connections with commissioners? can you get a meeting when others can't?

This is a LEEDS based position but we'll make the package attractive to anyone from anywhere in the country who fancies committing to us for an initial 6 months. Leeds is amazing and we like to think Daisybeck is a fun, energetic yet warm and cuddly place to work. We look after our people. We're not at all corporate and you'll see why sometimes we call it Crazybeck!
