Development Assistant Producer

London

ITV Daytime's Development team are on the lookout for an Assistant Producer to join the team behind TV shows, 'John and Lisa's Weekend Kitchen', 'Alison Hammond: Back To School', 'Coronation Street - 60 Unforgettable Years', 'Chefs' Burnt Bits', 'Emmerdale Soapy Slip Ups', 'Coronation Street Soapy Slip Ups' and ' This Morning - 30 Unforgettable Years'.

If you're keen to join a team always on the lookout for fresh ideas that will entertain, inform and resonate with viewers then this could be the job for you.

Do you have a proven flair for developing programme ideas? Do you think you can come up with a brand new TV show which viewers would love? If so this could be the role for you.

The role requires:
- An experienced development creative who understands the world and landscape of TV development - the opportunities and the challenges
- A talent for ideas plus a keen eye and understanding of how to develop them
- Fluency in UK and international format trends
- Fluency in social media and associated trends
- Experience and understanding of broadcasters' commissioning briefs
- Strong communication skills
- Excellent writing skills
- Good organisational skills
- Agility and ability to work across several projects at any one time
- Photoshop/PowerPoint skills for creating visually appealing pitch documents
- Experience meeting and taking part in discussions with talent and agents
- Keenness to progress and learn new skills that will enhance and be an asset to the Development Unit
- Self shooting and editing skills are a bonus but not essential
