Development Assistant
We are currently seeking a talented and enthusiastic individual to join our creative Development team at Lime Pictures. The role of Development Assistant is an entry level position and a fantastic opportunity for someone with a passion for television drama to gain experience in a busy development department.

The Development Assistant will work with the Development team on the commissioning, development and production of Lime Pictures drama and childrens shows. The successful candidate will also scout for writers, ideas, novels and scripts that may have series potential and also log, read and report on unsolicited script submissions.

Required skills & experience

Ability to analyse, critique and suggest improvements to scripts, treatments and ideas - prior script reading experience is very useful
People skills - tact, diplomacy, discretion and a sense of humour
Must be able to collaborate creatively in a team
Excellent organisational and time management skills
First class writing and verbal skills and the ability to draft/proof documents to a professional standard
Must be a confident and articulate communicator, able to act as a professional first point of contact
Ability to work to deadlines
A desire to learn and develop within the role
