The Digital team within BBC Studios Science Unit is growing and needs a vibrant development AP to help develop, write and pitch digital short-form, long-form and podcast ideas.
The role will involve generating ideas, responding to briefs, researching, writing up and helping to pitch to major international clients.
Requirements include a love of digital video and podcasts, first-rate storytelling skills, a varied creative approach combined with rigorous journalism, a good sense of fun and attention to detail.
You need to be across what's working on all platforms - Youtube, Facebook, Instagram, Tiktok etc - to be able to create good, creative, content-rich decks that get across the story well for pitching - and if you can cut and create quick tasters to help pitch, that would be a great bonus too!
Immediate start.
Contract approx 3 months initially.
Remote working till covid restrictions are further eased.
