MTV are looking for a talented mid-weight designer with a can-do attitude to join the creative leg of their digital team. The ideal candidate will be totally immersed in the digital world, with a passion for cutting edge design and pop culture. As a designer you will work across a broad range of projects from digital design, content creation, branding and identity of show extensions to promotional assets for marketing and events.
Key Responsibilities:
Juggling a wide variety of projects, with timelines from the immediate to the long term
Designing graphics for social media content and video on multiplatform
Creating dynamic and engaging campaigns and collateral around our brand, music, events and shows
Development of still and motion design templates to facilitate content creation
Delivering graphics for a wide variety of media, including television, mobile, online and print
Providing dynamic and engaging creative solutions in line with our brand guidelines
Essential skills & requirements:
An outstanding portfolio
Exceptional creative ability, design sense and aesthetic judgement
A self-starter with proven excellence in editorial and motion design
Prior design experience in-house or agency
Ability to take a design from concept to completion
A team player
Experience in building graphic templates and/or delivering usable project files.
Good awareness of MTV brand and audience
Some knowledge of usability and interaction design, HTML and CSS
Self motivated and organised
Ability to meet deadlines and remain calm under pressure
Proactive and positive
Ability to follow creative direction whilst also thinking outside the box
