This is an exciting opportunity to apply your creativity and design skills whilst gaining experience from our creative teams. In this hands-on role you will design and create artwork for on air, digital, print and social artwork for some of our best-known TV shows including Big Brother, Neighbours, Lip Sync Battle.Channel 5 launched as Britain's fifth terrestrial broadcaster in March 1997 and now reaches 4 in 5 of the UK viewing public each month with a broad mix of popular content. We make amazing programming from factual, entertainment, sport, news to original and acquired drama.The chosen candidate will support and work across Channel 5 and our digital channels: 5STAR, 5USA, SPIKE, My5.Supporting the design team and creative team in the production of promotional materials.Contribute to initial ideation stages for promos and 360 campaigns.Archive support and file managing.WHAT SKILLS DO YOU NEEDMust show passion and talent for storytelling, design, motion graphics, typography and layout.Must have completed or started a course in a design subject or have at least 6 months work experience in a media environment.Knowledge, interest and thirst for the latest design trends.Interest in social media, digital and off air advertising.Proficiency in Adobe After Effects, Photoshop, Illustrator.Experience in Cinema 4D a bonusMac literateOrganised with the ability to prioritise your workloadTeam player with the ability to build relationshipsComfortable developing ideas in response to a briefGood articulation and good communicationAbility to multi-task with a can do attitudeAn understanding of print/digital formats and deliveries would be beneficialAbility to work to tight deadlines and schedulesNO DEGREE OR CV NEEDEDYou don't need a degree or a CV to apply and we understand that you may not have experience in all of the areas on the job description, so what we are looking for is passion, enthusiasm and a desire to learn all there is to know.
