Hollyoaks is an award-winning five-nights-a-week soap that entertains its teatime audience with a heady mix of romance, issues that capture the zeitgeist and big soap plots that get viewers talking.

We're looking for a highly creative Deputy Series Producer to work with our Executive Producer to lead and inspire the editorial and production teams and help steer the show to even greater success.

You will have a proven track-record in soaps or drama, specifically in editorial, coupled with a thorough knowledge of production processes. You will have energy and drive in abundance, a demonstrable ability to problem-solve and manage people, and a thirst to find and tell compelling stories that really resonate with the audience.

You'll have some experience of casting, programme publicity and be familiar with the digital space as a means of further engaging the audience and driving them towards TX.

Working with the Series Producer, you will take sole responsibility for certain parts of the storylining and script process.

All of these skills will be used to oversee the creation of episodes in line with the Executive Producer's vision and working closely with the Head of Production to ensure they are produced on budget, on schedule and in line with C4's contractual obligations.
