ITV Studios Daytime requires your creativity - are you a communications innovator or a cultural commentator full of ideas trying to change the world one campaign at a time? The ITV Studios Daytime Promos slate runs from 6am until 6pm with programmes such as; Good Morning Britain, Lorraine, This Morning, Loose Women, Jeremy Kyle and Judge Rinder - most of these programmes run 52 weeks a year. Alongside our traditional production teams we also have in house and dedicated Graphics, Post Production, Studio Crew and Support teams, which all play an equally important role in ensuring we go to air each and every day.

In this rapidly-changing world, at ITV we believe that there are enormous gains to be made by integrating our 'on and off air' capabilities and building an agency of creative excellence. By bringing all 'on-air and digital' activity in-house we will be able to drive the ITV Daytime brand reputation by producing award winning campaigns.

We are looking for a Deputy Head of Promotions to work closely with the Head of Promos to be responsible for producing and creating multi-platform campaigns alongside the Daytime editorial teams and ITVs marketing team. The Promos department also produce commercials for events such as This Morning Live and occasionally sponsorship idents and branded content spots.

You will have proven experience managing a team in the creative industry, particularly within broadcast media, in the creation of effective TV promotions, to market and brand TV programmes and channels. You will have strong connections to creative talent and be a conceptual thinker and creator. Teamwork is crucial here and you will need to embody that as well as being motivated by looking for new, world class ideas.

It's a rare opportunity to join a team at the top of its game and at a senior level, with the chance to communicate what is coming up for some of Britain's best loved TV shows, dreaming up integrated campaigns and writing for some of the biggest names in television.

The successful candidate will be a skilled copywriter and understand the marketing or programme brief, the demographic they are trying to reach and come up with ideas to not only enhance the brief but creatively support it.

This role will ideally suit a senior creative with experience in broadcast or advertising as the ITV Studios Daytimes Promos department are responsible for producing and creating multi-platform campaigns alongside the Daytime editorial teams and ITVs marketing team. The Promos department also produce commercials for events such as This Morning Live and occasionally sponsorship idents and branded content spots.

As the Deputy Head of Promos, you will work closely with and as part of a team of creatives to devise integrated creative thinking for campaign briefs. You will present ideas, including strategic rationale and creative stimulus for all projects to the Daytime leadership team and ITV Marketing department. You will need to juggle expectations and priorities with editors and project teams.

Along with the Head of Promos, this new role will help to lead and manage our small promos team. You will be overseeing a team responsible for being innovative and bold, in creating, articulating, collaborating, presenting and executing campaign ideas and writing scripts.

Experience of working on a live news magazine show is essential. You will also be a dab hand at managing on screen talent, developing new faces and generating ideas every day. You will also have a comprehensive understanding of legal and compliance guidelines and OFCOM regulations.
