Pacific, an independent TV company based in North London are looking for a Deputy Head of Production to join their team.

The role is extremely varied and will see the individual work across all our TV productions, working to the Head of Production in overseeing the day to day running of the company and the office, working across ongoing productions and post production and providing support to the senior management team.

The successful candidate will have previous Management experience (both office and TV production). They will have an eye for detail, the ability to multi task and prioritise effectively, great organisational and communication skills, both written and verbal and be eager to develop within an exciting international company.

This is strictly an office based role.

Key responsibilities:

General Office:
? Office maintenance and company purchases in relation to office infrastructure including IT, office computer systems, post production infrastructure, hardware and telecommunications
? Overseeing office policies including Health and Safety
? Recruitment of personnel
? Management of junior staff including time off requests and welfare
? Looking after business insurance packages
? Management of Visa and work permit applications and paperwork preparation
? General office management

General Production Support:
? Providing support to the Head of Production
? Production Management of the individual production workflows from inception to delivery
? Management of the onsite Post Production department including supervision of team members, scheduling and delivery of programmes with associated paperwork to international broadcasters & managing timelines and compliance
? Recruitment of personnel for production roles
? Pre Production logistics including travel, accommodation and scheduling
? Production paperwork including releases and overseeing clearances issues
? Budget management
