HERE'S SOME INFORMATION FOR YOU?

Perform are looking for new members of their data editorial team supporting live broadcast of sports events on DAZN Spain, using and analysing Opta data. The role will be based in our Madrid office. The successful candidate will have an extensive sports knowledge, especially on MotoGP and football, but knowledge of other sports or data editorial experience would be an advantage.

During the week you'll be providing data editorial support for various teams within DAZN Spain, ranging from writing stat packs for commentators and producing data-driven stories for tv producers to supporting the marketing team with interesting sport facts for their campaigns. During the weekend you offer data editorial support and analysis during live events, to enhance the broadcast on DAZN.

HERE'S A BREAKDOWN OF WHAT YOU'LL DO (NOT ALL OF IT, JUST THE MOST IMPORTANT STUFF)

• Produce editorial facts and commentator packs
• Live support during games for production staff and tv graphics
• Updating editorial content in the CMS
• Attend production meetings
• Planning and scheduling

DO YOU HAVE THESE ESSENTIALS?

• The successful candidate will have the ability to identify interesting topics and facts before, during and after a game that add value to the broadcast.
• A broad and detailed knowledge of football and ideally MotoGP.
• Ability to manipulate data and produce editorial content to a high standard and work to tight deadlines. Accuracy is paramount.
• Bilingual (Spanish & English).

IT WOULD BE GREAT IF YOU HAD THESE DESIRABLES TOO

• Experience in journalism or sports broadcast production is an advantage (1-5 years).
• Flexible and adaptable to the changing demands of the role.
• Experience with data editorial work.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
