Dailies Technical Supervisor

London

Working as an integral member of the post-production team supporting our features, television and dailies businesses in house and on location. To be responsible for set-up and smooth rollout of complex processes on multiple shows in an ever changing environment.

Supervise all work going through the facility and nearset location, providing first line technical support.

Responsibilities:
* To communicate with stakeholders to understand their requirements and deadlines.
* Collectively plans shows with production, operations, engineering and image science, ensuring that sign off is gained from all stakeholders
* Provide workflow documentation
* Test kit and software end to end prior to shows start date
* Test and sign off framing and deliverables prior to shows start date
* Calibration of screens and monitors
* Show rollout to dailies team
* Accurate reporting
* First line support to dailies team
* Respond and prioritise requests from operational staff and clients.
* Disc space management
* Maintain records and knowledge pages
* Keep up to date latest software and versions
* Identify areas where workflow can be more efficient
* Maintaining best practices for content security and client confidentiality.
* Day to day media management on file servers and tape libraries.
* Identify changing requirements, recommend and develop solutions.

Requirements/Background:
* Previous experience of working in a busy global post-production environment offering location services is essential.
* Experience of different cameras including film
* Past experience as a feature film dailies operator essential
* Past experience on location a must

* Baselight
* Scanity
* Arriscan
* Avid
* Yoyota

Business Systems Experience:
* Microsoft Office - Excel, Outlook, Power Point, Word
* Proficient with web applications and portals for job management.
