What we want: We are looking for a film editor who above all else can be creative. Someone with artistic abilities from a creative background who enjoys translating their ideas into a film with a creative flare.

What we don't want: We don't even care what software you use but you do need a couple years of editing behind you. You might be the world's most advanced user of software but unless you can think for yourself creatively as well being open to ideas and take direction when needed then you don't need to apply. Basically, we need the eye for film editing over technical ability - we use FCPX and will train you if needed.

We like show-reels but......only creative ones, accompanied by an explanation of your role in the production. Please don't send us links to show-reels of interviews, cartoons or your pets, that simply show off your skills cutting footage together. That won't cut it for us :) Take a look at our website to see the content we shoot and edit with and the editing style used. We need someone who can produce this type of result and better! Don't be scared, if you don't have the right stuff to show us but know you can deliver, no problem, we will send you some of our footage to work with, so you can impress us.

We are the leaders in our chosen market and want to offer our clients even more. We want to push the creative boundaries and take advantage of the huge opportunities that exist in the market as well as expand in to others. The person who joins our small creative team in this position will play a critical role in helping us achieve these goals. So yes, we may be a bit fussy, but we do know what we are looking for and we want that someone to jump out at us.
