Creative Roles (Qatar)

Doha, Qatar

We are looking for talent for a potential opportunity based in Doha, Qatar, for 1 - 4 years to be part of an embedded Film Production Unit. Arabic speaking candidates are desirable. Experience in TV / Advertising / Video Content production is essential.

All successful candidates must have a valid passport and be willing and able to relocate to Qatar. Business visa arrangements and relocation support will be included, and organised through ITN.

Salaries will be internationally competitive.

Creative Director
The Creative Director will be a conceptually-led ideator, responsible for the development of a high-scale content campaign, with an agreed advertising approach. Leading the creative team, this is a hands-on role to oversee the creation of diverse and innovative content that is highly effective on a global scale.

What you'll be doing:
Lead a team of internal Creatives / Promo Directors, Camera Operators/Videographers and Photographers
Create, conceptualise and refine project briefs
Generate ideas and develop creative responses to briefs
Steer and feedback on all other creative output within the team
Maintain creative vision and "look and feel" of productions from inception to release
Oversee the execution of ideas and scripts in collaboration with the internal creative promo directors and production team and/or appoint and collaborate with freelance directors, designers, production companies, 3rd party vendors etc. as necessary to deliver a wide range of strong content
Be responsible for all creative, from brief to delivery. Oversee shoots and post-production
Develop and maintain a strong working relationship with the Marketing team
Report in to the Operations Director of an Internal Film Production Unit

Experience:
From an advertising creative or content agency background
An ability to understand strategic rationale in order to develop a brief
The ability to generate original and appropriate ideas working to a brief
Significant experience, and an in-depth knowledge of digital marketing and consumer trends
Strong experience in the creation of broadcast and digital campaigns and ability to demonstrate this via a showreel
Proven track-record of devising innovative campaigns for new platforms
Excellent creative leadership skills
An understanding of and ability to work within production and budget constraints
An understanding of pre, post, and production timelines and workflows
Strong knowledge of all shoot formats, post and animation techniques
Ability to cope under extreme pressure and prioritise work loads
Experience with sport and /or tourism projects and brands a bonus
Awareness of and compliance with all appropriate regulatory codes and taste and decency guidelines


Creative Promo Director
This role will report in to the Creative Director of the Film Production Unit and is responsible for generating ideas, writing scripts and often directing films for various platforms in order to produce content from start to finish. It's a role for a proven creative, imaginative and innovative individual passionate and up to date about all media.

What you'll be doing:
Researching subject matters to inform creative response to briefs
Generating ideas and writing scripts in response to briefs
Directing shoots, managing crews, talent and contributors
Together with the production team overseeing pre-production and production of shoots
Directing all aspects of post-production, including the offline and online edit, graphics, audio, voice over etc
Working with the production team to source the best external vendors to implement and execute the ideas
Working closely with a director if solely the creative on a project
Working closely with a creative/CD on treatment & execution of idea if solely the director on a project
Ensuring accurate and prompt record keeping of all external source material (clips, music returns, etc.) used in the execution of the work and its clearance
Developing and maintaining strong working relationship with Marketing

Experience:
Strong experience of generating successful campaign and video content ideas for a broadcaster/agency/production company
Extensive knowledge of pre, post, and production timelines and workflows
The ability to generate original and appropriate ideas working to a Marketing brief understanding strategic rationale behind brief
Ability to accept constructive feedback from Seniors and CD
Directorial experience of production from start to completion
Strong knowledge of all shoot formats, post and animation techniques
To have a proven ability to work successfully both autonomously and as part of a team
To possess and apply a high attention to detail
An understanding of and ability to work within production and budget constraints
Ability to liaise with Marketing
Ability to demonstrate previous successful video content/campaigns via a showreel
Ability to cope under extreme pressure and prioritise work loads
Experience of editing own work with Premiere a bonus
Experience with sport and /or tourism projects and brands a bonus
Awareness of and compliance with all appropriate regulatory codes and taste and decency guidelines
