Creative Manager

London

We are looking for a Creative Manager to join an international broadcaster based in West London. Ideally, you will already be working as a CM or similar within another broadcaster or channel and have experience as a creative, producer and/or video editor.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Implementation of all creative output.
Manage a team of creatives, making sure that they provide clients with high quality, outstanding and innovative visual ideas and solutions for all promotional and positioning campaign elements.
Report, advise and mentor directly with Senior Creatives.
Structure, develop, nurture, challenge, guide and inspire the creative team.
At times act as a creative "swat force" when needed across non-London based channels and other services & products.
Projects produced by the team are delivered on time and on budget.
Manage and develop all client relationships through close contact in terms of forward planning, development and communication of campaign briefs.
Work closely with marketing teams to secure implementation and development of overall marketing and brand guidelines.
Secure best practice sharing between territories and channels.
Build, motivate and manage the Senior Creative team to ensure they can develop and producing marketing material that meet's the client's expectations.
A source of creative support and mentor to all creatives.
Manage a forum for constructive criticism and feedback for the producer team.
Stay informed on the latest marketing and promotional trends, both internationally and local.
Generate ideas, oversee and approve sponsorship projects.
Hands-on involvement in projects, shoots and campaigns.
Lead and mentor direct reports whilst managing freelance staff & suppliers.
Work across the entire creative process; shaping the brief, pitching, client liaison, drafting treatments, resourcing, budgeting & scheduling.
Oversee production, post-production and finished programme delivery.
Ensure projects have correct resources and are delivered on time and to budget.
Ensure the highest standard of health, safety and compliance for all projects.

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

Ambitious, passionate, innovative and award winning creative.
Highly computer literate.
Highly self-motivated and responsible with a collaborative mentality and willingness to work with others.
Good communications & people skills.
Excellent attention to detail and high personal creative standards.
Patient under pressure with strong leadership skills including coaching and development of the team.
Experience in managing budgets within tight financial constraints and a proven track record of delivering projects on time and on budget.
Experience in managing a creative team.
An understanding and interest in social media.
Track record of working well with other departments, especially marketing teams.
A clear understanding of Scandinavian cultures and working with Scandinavian teams.
Fluency in English is essential and speaking a Scandinavian language is a bonus.
