Mission Gallery seeks a Creative Director with a passion for the visual and applied arts, strong leadership skills, an understanding of the value of lifelong learning and a commitment to achieving positive impacts within our communities.

The Creative Director will lead Mission Gallery in our goal for showcasing artistic excellence, community and public outreach, inclusive learning, financial stability, fundraising success and audience engagement. The Creative Director should have a strong interest in and understanding of Mission Gallery's vision and the wider context within which it operates, particularly its significance within Wales and its importance to Welsh culture.

Our nationally renowned Gallery, situated in the historic Marina area of Swansea, welcomes over 30,000 visitors each year and includes a gallery, a craft shop and learning spaces, whilst our lauded education and outreach work engages with all age groups.

Salary: £30,000 pro rata, 0.8 FTE, 8 hours per day.
The 0.8 FTE is made up of 0.6 FTE permanent and 0.2 FTE fixed-term until the end of August 2021.
