The National Theatre are currently recruiting for a Costume Hire/ Stock Keeper. The National Theatre Hire Department, based in Kennington SW9, holds a wide range of costumes, props and furniture from past productions. It is used extensively as a resource for recycling into new productions and by other professional and amateur productions and members of the general public. The organisation and maintenance of all stock is key to the success of this area.

Candidates should have good general knowledge of costume history, good knowledge of fabrics and excellent communication skills with the ability to prioritise a large number of competing tasks. Excellent customer service skills are important as is experience of a full range of administrative skills including computer literacy in Word, Excel, MS Office and other programmes including databases.
