Our Content Technology Support Engineers form part of a close knit team who provide broadcast and technical support to four of the ITV Daytime television shows.
As our Content Technology Support Engineer, you will become involved in planned and unplanned maintenance. You will monitor the performance of our Newsroom systems, and you will manage user accounts and provide front line/second level support for AVID systems.
Diagnosing and resolving network issues and faults, you will also log all reported IT issues. You will manage support of all broadcast equipment in use by ITV Breakfast, and you will maintain Apple Macs, providing desktop support to our Programme staff.
We are looking for someone with a strong technical interest and a problem-solving mind. An IT qualification is preferable. Experience of working in TV is not essential as training will be provided.
We use IT-based systems, within a fast-paced and varied environment. With your ability to recognise and offer engineering solutions, you will have a good understanding of computer networks and broadcast formats.
Experience of using AVID and Apple Mac is beneficial, as is experience in broadcast engineering and remote support. Flexibility with regards to working shift patterns is essential as our team do provide 24 hour support, 6 days of the week.
